More individuals, including minors, have reported abuse allegations against Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Apollo Quiboloy to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
These new reports emerged during the 16-day police operation to serve arrest warrants to Quiboloy and his subordinates at the KOJC compound in Davao City.
PNP chief Police General Rommel Marbil said a number of young women, referred to as 'pastorals' within his organization, have provided information about the systematic abuse of young women under Quiboloy's influence.
He stated that these 'inner circle pastorals', with victims as young as 12 years old, provided crucial information about Quiboloy's alleged criminal activities, uncovering new and alarming details.
PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said some of the victims approached the police during the operation, and the PNP is coordinating with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) due to the involvement of minors.
Quiboloy and his co-accused surrendered on September 8 and are facing child abuse cases in a Davao City court.
