New victims of alleged sexual abuse by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, some as young as 12 years old, have come forward with their testimonies to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
These additional victims were identified as Quiboloy's personal assistants, referred to as "pastorals," who were allegedly exploited within his "inner circle."
Some of these victims chose to report their experiences to authorities while a police operation was still underway at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) compound in Davao City.
The police operation at the KJC compound lasted from August 24 to September 8, during which Quiboloy and four subordinates were arrested.
The five arrested individuals are currently detained at the PNP custodial center.
Senator Risa Hontiveros stated that Quiboloy will soon have to face a Senate probe, with her committee still finalizing the hearing schedule.
