LPA, shear line, Amihan to bring rains over parts of PH

Parts of the Philippines will experience rain showers due to a low pressure area's trough, a shear line, and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).

Masbate, Sorsogon, Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and the Davao Region can expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, with the potential for flash floods or landslides.

Cagayan Valley, the rest of Bicol Region, and Apayao will have light rains due to the Amihan affecting Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon are forecast to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of Mindanao may experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, which could also cause flash floods or landslides.

Coastal waters are expected to be rough in Luzon and the eastern Visayas, and slight to moderate elsewhere.
