ITCZ to bring scattered rain showers over Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers to Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Areas including Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience these conditions, with a risk of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Aurora and Quirino will also have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies, with similar risks of flash floods or landslides.

The rest of Mindanao will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ, with potential for flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Cagayan Valley and the rest of Central Luzon are forecast to have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with risks during severe thunderstorms.

The remaining parts of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from localized weather systems, and the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
