ITCZ, easterlies to bring rains across PH

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies are expected to bring cloudy skies and rain showers to various parts of the Philippines on Sunday.

MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, with a risk of flash floods or landslides.

The Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon can anticipate cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms from the easterlies, also posing a risk of flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the remaining areas of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

The rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters across the Philippines are predicted to be slight to moderate.
