Metro Manila floodwaters recede in some areas, passable routes increase

As of Thursday, July 24, 2025, floodwaters have receded in some parts of Metro Manila, with the MMDA reporting several intersections passable to all vehicles.

However, significant flooding persists in certain areas, notably along Dr. A. Santos Avenue in Parañaque City, where sections are impassable due to knee-deep to waist-deep waters.

In Malabon City, while some areas like Don Basilio Bautista are only experiencing gutter-deep flooding, Rizal Avenue Extension near the City Hall remains half knee-deep but passable.

Other reported passable areas include specific sections of Roxas Boulevard and Taft Avenue in Manila, and MacArthur Highway in Valenzuela City, all with gutter-deep flooding.

Floodwaters in parts of Navotas City, Las Piñas City, and Pasay City have also subsided, although some locations may still have minor flooding.
