Habagat to bring moderate to heavy rains in parts of Luzon

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring moderate to heavy rains across parts of Luzon on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Areas including Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan can expect rains of 50 to 100 millimeters, potentially causing flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila, Visayas, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, and other parts of Central Luzon and Mimaropa will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country may have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are forecast in the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

A tropical depression, formerly a low pressure area, was last seen 435 kilometers west of Iba, Zambales with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph and gusts of up to 55 kph, moving southwest at 20 kph.

This tropical depression is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility and is not expected to affect the country.
