Filipino celebs find mixed results in 2025 polls

Several Filipino celebrities experienced both triumphs and setbacks in the 2025 elections.

In the Senate race, Bam Aquino, Kiko Pangilinan, and Tito Sotto successfully won seats.

However, prominent figures such as Manny Pacquiao, Jimmy Bondoc, Philip Salvador, and Willie Revillame were unsuccessful in their bids for the Senate.

The House of Representatives saw victories for Richard Gomez, Arjo Atayde, Jolo Revilla, Lani Mercado, and Ryan Christian Recto.

Conversely, Marco Gumabao, Ejay Falcon, Lino Cayetano, and Rey Malonzo were unable to secure congressional seats.

At the provincial level, Vilma Santos was elected as the Governor of Batangas, and Daniel Fernando secured another term as Governor of Bulacan.

Lito Lapid also made a comeback to the Senate, placing 11th in the partial, unofficial results.
