Several celebrities win local posts in 2025 elections

Several celebrities have won or retained local government posts in the 2025 Philippine local elections.

Vilma Santos-Recto returns as Governor of Batangas, and her son Ryan Christian Recto is the congressman for Batangas' 6th District.

Daniel Fernando secured the governorship of Bulacan, while Alex Castro won as vice governor.

Isko Moreno is poised to return as Mayor of Manila, and his son Joaquin Domagoso will be a councilor for Manila's 1st District.

Lucy Torres is leading the mayoralty race in Ormoc City, and her husband Richard Gomez is leading for representative in Leyte.

Vico Sotto is reelected as Mayor of Pasig for his third term, and Angelu de Leon won her second term as councilor in the same city.

Arjo Atayde won his second term as congressman for Quezon City's 1st congressional district, while Aiko Melendez and Alfred Vargas secured seats as councilors in Quezon City's 5th District.

Leren Bautista was reelected as a councilor in Los Baños, Laguna, and former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Nina Jose-Quiambao won as the reelected Bayambang, Pangasinan mayor.

Jolo Revilla was reelected as congressman for Cavite's 1st District, and Tutti Caringal won as a board member for Laguna's second provincial district.

However, Daniel Fernandez lost the gubernatorial race in Laguna, and Yul Servo was not reelected as Manila Vice Mayor.
