House of Representatives

The House of Representatives is leading efforts to ensure transparency in the 2026 national budget process by opening bicameral deliberations to the public through livestreaming. It has also extended its session until December 23 to allow more time for budget negotiations with the Senate. Representative Mikaela Suansing plays a key role in these efforts as chair of the House appropriations committee.
