DOH reports 16,013 new COVID-19 recoveries

Of the active cases, 87.8 percent have mild symptoms, followed by asymptomatic at 7.8 percent, moderate at 2.48 percent, severe at 1.3 percent, and critical at 0.6 percent.

Another 79 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total fatalities to 34,978.

The DOH experienced delays in reporting Covid-19 data due to technical issues with its COVID-KAYA system, with the Department of Information and Communications (DICT) investigating the matter.
