The DOH also reported 125 new Alpha variant cases, 94 Beta cases, and 11 new P.3 variant cases.

The country now has a total of 2,093 Alpha cases and 2,362 Beta cases.

The Delta variant is considered the fastest and fittest variant, capable of infecting up to eight people, compared to the original virus infecting three and the Alpha variant infecting four to five.
