Davao City receives 33,600 Sinovac doses for health workers

Davao City received a total of 33,600 Sinovac vaccine doses, with an initial 12,000 arriving on March 2, 2021, and an additional 21,600 on March 4, 2021.

The vaccines are allocated for the region's health workers, including those in private hospitals and the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).

Approximately 16,000 health workers in Region 11 are targeted for inoculation starting March 5, with the second dose to be administered 28 days later.

The SPMC alone was allocated around 5,900 doses for its health workers.

DOH-11 aims to vaccinate all eligible health workers in one week across Level 1, 2, and 3 hospitals in the region.

Senior citizens aged 60 and above are the next priority group after healthcare workers.
