Creamline Cool Smashers bag 9th PVL title

The Creamline Cool Smashers secured their ninth PVL title by defeating the Akari Chargers in three straight sets in the 2024 Reinforced Conference knockout final.

This victory marks Creamline's second title in an import-laced conference, despite the absence of key players Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, and Alyssa Valdez.

Bernadeth Pons was instrumental in Creamline's victory, earning both the conference Most Valuable Player and Finals MVP awards, and posted 19 points in the final game.

Creamline import Erica Staunton added 13 points, while Michele Gumabao contributed 10 points to the championship win.

The Creamline Cool Smashers opened their PVL Invitational campaign with a dominant 25-13, 25-12, 25-15 win over EST Cola of Thailand.

Michele Gumabao led Creamline with 14 points in their Invitational game, while Bernadeth Pons continued her remarkable form.

Setter Kyle Negrito paced the team with 15 excellent sets in the Invitational game, as the team looks towards facing unbeaten defending champion Kurashiki Ablaze next.
