The Creamline Cool Smashers secured their record-extending ninth PVL title by defeating the Akari Chargers in a straight-sets victory in the 2024 Reinforced Conference knockout final.

Despite missing three key players with multiple MVP awards, Creamline showcased their champion's heart to overcome the odds.

Bernadeth Pons was instrumental in the win, earning both the conference Most Valuable Player and Finals MVP awards with 19 points, including crucial service aces.

Import Erica Staunton contributed 13 points, while Michele Gumabao added 10 points to Creamline's dominant performance.

Creamline established early leads in each set, managing to fend off Akari's attempts to rally and ultimately completing the sweep.

Pons stepped up significantly throughout the tournament, leading the team in the absence of stars like Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, and Alyssa Valdez.
