Comelec canvasses 91.91% of senatorial and partylist election results

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has canvassed 159 out of 173 Certificates of Canvass (COCs), representing over 91.91% of the total for the senatorial and partylist elections as of Monday, May 16, 2022.

Eleven COCs remain to be canvassed, all from overseas posts and will be manually transmitted.

These eleven COCs are from Philippine Embassy posts in Mexico, Bangladesh, Timor Leste, Myanmar, Copenhagen, Czech Republic, Oslo, Vatican, Nigeria, Iran, and Kenya.

The remaining three COCs will be electronically transmitted from Hong Kong, North Cotabato, and Lanao del Sur.

The COC from Hong Kong will cover votes from Hong Kong, Macau, and other parts of Mainland China, but will exclude Shanghai due to a COVID-19 lockdown.
