The Philippines is actively working with Thailand and other countries to address the issue of Filipino trafficking into Myanmar for scam centers and crypto farms, emphasizing the need for illegal recruitment investigation and rescue operations. The Department of Migrant Workers and the Department of Foreign Affairs are collaborating to repatriate affected Filipinos and warn against unauthorized migration through backdoor means such as tourist visas for overseas work.
