Celebrities mourn passing of Noynoy Aquino III

Filipino celebrities, including Janine Gutierrez and Enchong Dee, have expressed their condolences and paid tribute to former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III following his passing on June 24, 2021.

Enchong Dee thanked President Noynoy Aquino III for his service to the country, his respect for the Philippine Constitution, and his respect for fellow Filipinos.

Janine Gutierrez also shared her gratitude for Aquino's service as the former president of the Philippines.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta honored Aquino through an Instagram post and conveyed a message of unity to his family.

The Alcasid couple, Ogie and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, who sang "Hindi Ka Nag-Iisa" during his presidential campaign in 2010, also performed at his funeral Mass and expressed their fond memories.

Singer Erik Santos performed "Our Father" during the funeral Mass and stated it was an honor to be part of Aquino's campaign.

Sharon Cuneta-Pangilinan also thanked "Mr. President," stating her heart weeps for him and remembering his sincerity during his campaign.
