Amihan to bring rains to Northern and Central Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (amihan) is expected to bring cloudy skies and rain to Northern and Central Luzon on Friday.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon may experience flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Rizal, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains with no significant impact.

The rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies.

Coastal waters in Northern Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the eastern sections of Central Luzon and Visayas are forecast to be rough due to strong east to northeast winds.

Eastern Mindanao and the rest of Luzon will experience moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have slight to moderate coastal waters with light to moderate east to northeast winds.
