Alas Pilipinas Men prepares for FIVB World Championship debut

Alas Pilipinas Men is set to compete in their debut at the 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship after a comprehensive European training camp.

The team participated in tune-up matches in Morocco, Romania, and Portugal, facing taller and more experienced European teams.

Head coach Angiolino Frigoni has finalized the roster but has not yet disclosed it to the players or the press.

Frigoni noted that the European tour and tune-up matches provided valuable perspective and significant improvements in serving, blocking, and defense.

Despite the improvements, Frigoni is managing expectations due to the Philippines' first-time appearance on the world stage and is unsure if it will be enough to beat Tunisia in their first match.

He affirmed that the players are motivated to give their best effort throughout the championship.
