50 Covid-19 positive OFWs now at New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac
Fifty overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who tested positive for COVID-19 have arrived at the We Heal as One Center in New Clark City for isolation and treatment.
The BCDA, in coordination with several government agencies including the DOTr, OWWA, and DOH, facilitated the transport of the OFWs to the facility.
BCDA President and CEO Vince Dizon stated that COVID-positive patients at the quarantine center will receive 24/7 medical care, free meals, and internet access.
Dizon emphasized that the government's priority is to save lives and protect families by providing necessary care to OFWs in isolation facilities.
The New Clark City facility has 688 cubicles and can be expanded to accommodate up to 1,000 patients, with medical staff supervised by the DOH.
