Four weather systems bring rain across PH

Four weather systems are causing rain across various parts of the Philippines on Tuesday.

The northeast monsoon (amihan) has reintensified, bringing rain showers and cooler temperatures to Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao.

The shear line is bringing scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms to Isabela and Aurora.

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will cause similar weather conditions in Zamboanga Peninsula, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

Areas affected by the ITCZ and shear line may experience flash floods and landslides, especially during moderate to heavy rainfall.

The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with potential for flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon can expect moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.

PAGASA does not anticipate any low pressure areas developing into a tropical cyclone.
