Shear line, Amihan, ITCZ bring rains nationwide

The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) are affecting Luzon, while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is bringing rains to Mindanao.

Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao can expect cloudy skies with rains due to the Amihan, with a possibility of flash floods or landslides from moderate to heavy rainfall.

Isabela and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms brought by the shear line, also posing risks of flash floods or landslides.

The ITCZ is forecast to cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, with residents advised to be vigilant against potential flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the remainder of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with warnings about flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind conditions and moderate to rough coastal water conditions, while the rest of the country will have slight to moderate conditions.
