ITCZ, Shear Line, Amihan to bring rains nationwide

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Quezon, Metro Manila, and the rest of the country.

The Shear Line will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Cagayan, Apayao, and Isabela.

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will result in cloudy skies with rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some parts of the country due to these weather conditions.

Strong to gale-force winds with rough to very rough waters may be experienced in Northern Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas are expected over the eastern section of the country, while the rest of the country may experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
