101 OFWs repatriated from Saudi Arabia

A total of 101 distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) have been repatriated from Saudi Arabia.

The OFWs arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Wednesday night, September 14, accompanied by DMW Secretary Susan "Toots" Ople, who recently held bilateral talks with her Saudi counterpart.

Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Arnaldo Ignacio stated that the repatriated OFWs were properly documented and underwent health protocols before their return to their respective provinces.

DMW Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac highlighted that this repatriation is a manifestation of the shared responsibility between the Philippines and Saudi Arabia following successful bilateral discussions.
