PH, KSA agree to lift deployment ban starting Nov. 7
The Philippine government will lift its ban on the deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to Saudi Arabia starting November 7.
This decision follows bilateral discussions between the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
DMW Secretary Susan Ople stated that both countries agreed to measures facilitating "decent and productive employment of OFWs and ensure the protection of their rights."
