Zamboanga reimposes RT-PCR test for inbound travelers

Zamboanga City will reimpose a requirement for inbound travelers to present a negative RT-PCR test result starting January 12.

The city government aims to prevent the spread of the Omicron variant by implementing this measure, regardless of vaccination status.

Travelers coming from areas with higher alert levels than Zamboanga City's current level 2 will be subject to this requirement.

For travelers from areas with the same or lower alert levels, no test result is required but they may undergo random antigen testing upon entry.
