CDO reports 3 new COVID-19 cases including 2 deaths

On Wednesday, Cagayan de Oro City recorded three new COVID-19 cases including a 61-year-old woman who died on May 5 due to complications related to pneumonia and acute respiratory illness.

The other two patients are family members of the deceased patient and have been placed in quarantine since April 18.

Additionally, a 21-year-old man from Barangay Lumbia who was involved in an accident on April 19 died on May 6 due to complications including acute respiratory failure secondary to COVID-19 infection.

In Zambales, three new confirmed cases were reported on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 16.

The new patients include a 32-year-old female from San Narciso, a 55-year-old male from Iba, and a 56-year-old female from Botolan; all are currently admitted at President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital.
