PAGASA raises red warning over Sorsogon, Masbate

PAGASA raised a red rainfall warning for Sorsogon and Masbate on Wednesday due to Tropical Depression Ofel, expecting severe flooding in flood-prone areas and potential landslides.

An orange rainfall warning was issued over Northern Samar, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, and Albay, while a yellow warning covered Camarines Sur, Marinduque, Romblon, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon, advising residents of possible flooding in low-lying areas.

Previously, PAGASA had issued warnings for Zambales due to the Southwest Monsoon and Tropical Depression Nika, with orange and yellow alerts indicating potential threats of flooding and landslides.
