PAGASA: Rain, thunderstorms due to LPA, northeasterly winds

PAGASA forecasts scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across Metro Manila and other parts of the country due to a low pressure area (LPA) and northeasterly surface wind flow.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the LPA's trough.

The northeasterly surface wind flow affects Northern and Central Luzon, causing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in some areas.
