Sara Duterte refuses House committee hearings on budget

Vice President Sara Duterte has refused to attend further House committee hearings regarding the budget usage of her office.

She cited constitutional provisions in a letter dated September 23rd that was made public on Wednesday by the Office of the Vice President (OVP).

Duterte argued that the inquiry lacks clear legislative objectives and is based on unsubstantiated claims.
