VP Duterte: Sister Kitty and Mom to visit Dad in The Hague on March 28

Vice President Sara Duterte announced that her sister Veronica 'Kitty' Duterte and Kitty's partner Honeylet Avanceña will visit their father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, at the detention center in The Hague on March 28 to coincide with his birthday.

Sara said the visit is limited and all available time has been granted to them, including the former president's birthday.

Kitty plans to return to the Philippines for classes while Avanceña needs to manage business affairs.

The Vice President also mentioned that her mother Elizabeth Zimmerman will be in The Hague on March 28 or 29.

During an ambush interview, Sara relayed a message from her father to supporters, encouraging them to express their anger if they feel it.

She suggested having a picnic with supporters for her father's birthday instead of organizing a formal event to avoid the need for permits.
