Vicky affects 16K families, damages infrastructure

As of Tuesday, December 22, the number of families affected by Tropical Depression Vicky has reached 16,762, affecting 68,088 individuals in Central Visayas, Eastern Visyas, Davao Region, and Caraga.

Of those affected, 4,791 people are staying in evacuation centers while 4,627 are receiving aid outside. The storm damaged 235 houses, with 120 classified as totally damaged and 115 partially damaged.

The death toll remains at eight, with two injured and one missing. Infrastructure damage was estimated at PHP117 million, while agricultural losses were reported at PHP5.27 million in Davao De Oro.
