Veteran actor Ricky Davao passes away at 63 after cancer battle

Veteran actor Ricky Davao passed away on Friday, May 2, at the age of 63, leaving behind a legacy that includes over four decades of work in film, television, and theater.

His daughter Ara Davao confirmed his death on social media, stating he passed away peacefully surrounded by family after battling cancer complications.

Ricky's partner for more than three years, Mayeth Malca, also paid tribute to the late actor with a heartfelt Instagram post, sharing how their relationship transformed her understanding of unconditional love.

Today’s viewing hours are from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a Christian service at 6:30 p.m., and the wake is open for family and friends.

A family tribute will be held tomorrow, May 6, from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m., followed by a final viewing on Wednesday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a novena Mass at 11 a.m.
