Valenzuela records 4th COVID-19 case; mayor says first three unrelated

Valenzuela City recorded its fourth confirmed COVID-19 case on Friday, a 79-year-old male with no travel history who has pneumonia.

The patient's condition includes abdominal pain, chills, cough, and fever, and he is currently hospitalized outside Valenzuela.

Mayor Rex Gatchalian stated that the city has completed contact tracing for the first three cases, which are unrelated and likely contracted from workplaces outside Valenzuela.

Two of the earlier cases are expected to recover soon after a second round of testing, while the third case requires oxygen support and is under close medical attention at Valenzuela Medical Center.
