Galvez: No corruption in vaccine procurement

Vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. reiterated on Tuesday that there is no corruption in the government's efforts to procure coronavirus vaccines.

While acknowledging the people's right to know, Galvez stated that premature disclosure of vaccine deal terms is not possible as all contracts are still under negotiation and bound by a confidential disclosure agreement (CDA).

Galvez emphasized on Monday that negotiations with pharmaceutical firms for Covid-19 vaccines are fair and square, stressing stringent screening based on WHO and ADB regulatory requirements.
