Vaccine hesitancy drops to 8%, gov't credits info campaign

The latest Social Weather Stations survey shows a decline in vaccine hesitancy among Filipinos, with only eight percent of adult respondents unwilling to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as of December 2021.

This is down from 18% in September, 21% in June, and 33% in May last year.

Government officials attribute the decrease to successful information dissemination by media and government efforts to ensure vaccine accessibility across all regions.
