UST student tops 2023 Bar exams

Ephraim Bie from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the 2023 Bar examinations with an 89.2625% grade.

Bie is the first UST-Manila graduate to top the Bar in two decades, ending a drought since Arlene Maneja's achievement in 2002.

The UST faculty of civil law congratulated Bie for his accomplishment and is preparing a celebration on campus premises.

In addition to his law degree, Bie also earned a journalism degree from UST as class valedictorian in 2015.

Currently working at Divina Law, Bie excelled particularly in criminal law under the guidance of lawyer Klinton Torralba.
