US donates 1.8M Pfizer doses, Duterte eyes visit

On Sunday, October 3, 1.8 million Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses donated by the US arrived in Manila through the COVAX facility.

This brings the total number of vaccine deliveries to the Philippines to over 77 million since February.

President Duterte expressed interest in visiting the US to thank Americans for their donations.

The US will also send an additional 5.3 million Pfizer doses, bringing the total donated by the US to around 14.1 million.
