UP vows finals return after losing UAAP title

University of the Philippines (UP) men's basketball team vows to return to the finals in UAAP Season 86 after losing their title to Ateneo in Game 3, 75-68.

Malick Diouf and Carl Tamayo, who were named MVP and part of the Mythical Team respectively, expressed a desire for redemption and promised to come back stronger next season.

Diouf was limited to seven points but had 19 rebounds and four blocks in Game 3, while expressing frustration over his foul trouble in Game 2 that contributed to Ateneo's comeback.
