Lucero plays final free throw despite injury

Zavier Lucero, despite injuring his knee in Game 2 of the UAAP Season 85 men's basketball finals, played his final free throw for UP Fighting Maroons in Game 3 on Monday.

Lucero was called to shoot the technical free throw with less than a second left before the game ended, but UP lost to Ateneo de Manila University 75-68.

Despite not being able to play due to an ACL tear, Lucero joined pre-game warmups and received support from teammates and fans.

Lucero expressed his gratitude for the support he received during his final UAAP game and said it was a moment he would cherish forever.
