Lucero out of Game 3 with torn ACL

UP's Zavier Lucero tore his left ACL in Game 2 of the UAAP Season 85 men's basketball finals and will miss the decisive Game 3 on Monday.

Lucero, a key player for UP, tearfully told his teammates he won't be able to play and asked them to win it for him.

UP now faces an uphill battle with only Henry Galinato, JB Lina, Carl Tamayo, and Malick Diouf as frontline threats.

The team is preparing mentally and physically for the game despite Lucero's absence.
