UAE suspends entry for all visa holders

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has suspended entry for all valid visa holders, including residency and tourist visas, effective March 19 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This suspension is in effect for two weeks and covers newly-issued work visas not used by March 17; these are deemed canceled.

The DFA advises Filipino nationals of this measure and also notes South Africa's travel restrictions on visitors from high-risk countries like China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, UK, and US.
