DOH: One Filipino with COVID-19 in UAE 'unstable'

As of Monday, February 24, one of two Filipinos infected with COVID-19 in the United Arab Emirates is in an unstable condition.

The patient is a 43-year-old male who initially had difficulty breathing and was intubated upon admission to the hospital.

The other Filipino case involves a 34-year-old male who is stable, while a Filipina domestic helper in Hong Kong is also recovering well.

On February 21, the UAE Ministry of Health confirmed two new cases, including another Filipino, bringing the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country to 11.
