TNT secures second straight PBA Commissioner's Cup, eyes rare Grand Slam

TNT secured its second straight PBA Commissioner's Cup title by defeating Barangay Ginebra in Game 7 on Friday, March 28.

With this victory, TNT now has the opportunity to achieve a rare Grand Slam if it wins the upcoming Philippine Cup, a feat accomplished only four times in league history.

Head coach Chot Reyes acknowledged the possibility but emphasized that his team will face immense pressure and opposition from other teams, noting there's 'a huge target on our back'.

Despite lacking the best talent and depth compared to others, Reyes praised his players' refusal to quit and their fighting spirit, highlighting the challenge of playing without key players Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Jayson Castro.

Reyes stated that TNT's focus remains on working harder and aiming for improvement in each tournament rather than solely pursuing the Grand Slam.
