TNT beats Terrafirma, eyes Meralco clash

TNT Tropang Giga turned its season around with an 89-84 victory over San Miguel Beer in the PBA Philippine Cup, following three consecutive losses.

Coach Chot Reyes emphasized that TNT is not complacent and has prepared intensely for their upcoming game against Terrafirma Dyip on Friday at 5 p.m., which resulted in a decisive 110-74 win for TNT.

Reyes noted that while the victory over Terrafirma was significant, it's too early to tell if this marks a return to form as TNT faces a tough showdown against defending champion Meralco on Sunday.

Meralco, currently at 2-3 in the league standings, faces a crucial match against NorthPort on Friday at 7:30 p.m. to halt their three-game losing streak and enter the TNT clash with high morale.

Luigi Trillo, Meralco's head coach, acknowledged that his team needs to improve its precision and performance as they face tough competition ahead with games against TNT and Magnolia in the coming week.
