TNT advances to PBA Commissioner's Cup semis

TNT secured their spot in the PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals by defeating Hong Kong Eastern 109-93 on Thursday at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led TNT with 31 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Rey Nambatac added 18 points and Jayson Castro contributed 16 points off the bench.

TNT pulled away late in the third quarter and never looked back, outscoring Hong Kong Eastern after a key run at the end of the period.

Poy Erram also performed well with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks, helping TNT wear down their opponent who had been playing multiple leagues recently.

TNT will now await the winner of the series between Converge FiberXers and Rain or Shine before advancing to the semifinals.
