DOH assures Para\u00f1aque residents more vaccines on way after Sputnik V rollout disappointment

Para\u00f1aque residents who missed out on the Sputnik V vaccine rollout were assured by Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire that more vaccines are on the way.

On Tuesday, tensions rose as some residents did not receive their doses despite lining up for hours.

Vergeire explained that while the Para\u00f1aque government initially planned to vaccinate only those with a schedule or part of the master list, they ended up administering extra doses.

However, due to unexpected high turnout, officials ran out of vaccines and disappointed many residents who were left without appointments.
