Malacañang orders Metro Manila 'general' quarantine from March 15

Malacañang has ordered local government units in Metro Manila to enforce a 'general' community quarantine from March 15 to April 14.

Workers employed in Metro Manila will be allowed to travel within and outside NCR, provided they present proof of employment at border checkpoints.

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases met to finalize guidelines for the implementation of the community quarantine, including exemptions for essential workers and patients with COVID-19.
