Taguig partners biz sector for more bike-friendly areas

Taguig City will partner with the business sector to increase bike-friendly areas and facilities amid the 'new normal'.

The partnership includes protected bike lanes, showers, restrooms for cyclists, and bike racks.

City hall employees, law enforcers, and public health workers will be introduced to biking through a bike-lending program.

Residents and workers welcomed the initiative, with healthcare workers noting that bikes would speed up medicine deliveries.

Mattz Magbalana of the United Tipas Cyclists Group praised the move to set up bike lanes, which he said would make travel faster.
